Stake choir practice is starting up!

Consider this the grand announcement that Stake Choir practices start this week!  We'll be meeting Sundays at 6:30 PM at the Stake Center to practice our pieces for Stake Conference on May 3rd.  Below is the list of songs I know we'll be singing through.  This year we'll be doing a song within the Sunday program, as well as the closing song, similar to how we did last conference.

For the most up-to-date information and practice versions of songs, hop on Facebook and find the Juneau Stake Choir page.  I'll be posting things there.  For those of you without Facebook, you can go to singingwithgrace.blogspot.com, and I'll try to post things there, too.

If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.  Can't wait to start singing with you again!  Feel free to pass this information on to whomever might be interested in singing.  No experience or expertise necessary!
I Know That My Redeemer Lives - this is the same one we were working on for last Stake Conference that everyone loved, but we just didn't have enough time to make it Stake Conference ready. I hope that with 2 1/2 months of practice, we could pull it off
I Know that My Savior Loves Me - This is the song that they're teaching the Primary kids this year for the primary program. It's not from the Children's hymnbook, but this is at least the second year that they've taught it to the kids for their program (the 2nd year since I've had kids, anyway).
We'll also be going through "Nearer Dear Savior to Me."  Click on this link, and it will take you to the LDS Music for Choirs Site.  Look for this song, and you can download it.

Hope to see you all there on Sunday!
